Sadly, I missed out on the Remembrance Day ceremonies downtown due to the buses not running and a couple other issues. Instead, I took a walk to the park behind my house and just sat for an hour, taking in the little bit of wilderness inside the city and reflecting on our veterans. And left my poppy, for my grandpa, on a tree there. It seemed fitting.
